New Accounts Representative

Job Summary
The New Accounts Representative is responsible for offering and selling financial products and services to both consumer and business clients.
Duties / Responsibilities
Routinely work with consumer and business clients, to build and strengthen relationships by uncovering financial needs, and recommending the best products, services and solutions to meet those needs.
Ensure the client's needs are met by partnering with co-workers to serve the client's banking and lending needs.
Provide superior customer service with every transaction.
Adhere to policies and procedures.
Regular reliable attendance is critical.
May be required to work overtime.
Qualifications / Required Skills
A minimum of two years experience in banking/financial services;
A minimum of two years of customer service experience;
A minimum of two years of sales experience;
Skilled in assessing client needs, providing solid advice/recommendations, and building relationships based on mutual trust to optimize sales opportunities with new and existing clients;
Ability to build solid relationships with co-workers by fostering teamwork and collaboration;
Ability to apply strong critical thinking and problem solving skills to meet the client's needs;
Ability to demonstrate initiative, a commitment to continuous learning, and the ability to adapt to changing demands and requirements;
Excellent oral and written communication skills;
Professional demeanor and front office appearance; and
High school diploma or GED.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
